Dear Valued Stakeholder

Following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s call for responsible social distancing to try and flatten the curve. As the outbreak of COVID-19 continues to spread across South Africa and remains at the top of the agenda for businesses nationally and internationally SANEDI has put measures in place for the safety of our employees and stakeholders. We have implemented a work from home protocol, allowing all our employees to work from home for business continuity and staying safe. Our office will remain open. This arrangement is effective from Thursday, 26 March.

Our office is monitoring the outbreak and its impact on our employees and stakeholders. Please be assured that during this time of risk mitigation the SANEDI – CCUS services will remain unaffected unless constrained by social distancing requirements.

Norway to welcome ‘world’s first large-scale carbon capture plant at a cement factory'

Oslo-based engineering company Aker Solutions and Norwegian supplier of cement Norcem will build the facility at Norcem’s cement factory in Brevik, Norway – they now hope to secure state funding from the Norwegian Government.
