The Petroleum Technology Research Centre in conjunction with Sask Power hosted a delegation from SANEDI, UMkhanyakude Local House of Traditional Leaders, UMkhanyakude District Municipality, UMhlabuyalingana and Big5 Hlabisa Local Municipality. SACCCS through its Stakeholder Engagement component has  established a Pilot School Programme (PSP) to conduct outreach activities for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Educators and Learners. PTRC and South African National Energy Development Institute sign MOU on CCS R&D

The PTRC and SANEDI are pleased to announce the official signing of a memorandum of understanding to share knowledge and develop research initiatives on carbon capture and storage. SANEDI, through its South African Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage, is in the process of developing its first CCS pilot Project.
